Answer:

Macbeth, at first, was<em> unafraid</em> when he finally meets Macduff on the battlefield because he thought that Macduff was born of a woman. <u>This means Macduff cannot harm Macbeth.</u>

Explanation:

Macbeth and Macduff are both characters in Shakespeare's tragedy entitled<em>"Macbeth." </em>

Macbeth knew of Macduff's disloyalty to him, thus he diverted his anger towards him. He made a plot to kill Macduff's wife and children while Macduff was in England. Their <em>deaths</em> angered Macduff who vowed to avenge them. He then tracked Macbeth and finally, they faced each other and started fighting.

Since Macbeth could never be harmed by anyone who was born from a woman, he became confident that Macduff will never be able to harm him.

However, Macduff explained that <u>he was taken away prematurely from his mother's womb.</u> So, this means that he wasn't technically born from a woman.

So, this explains the answer.

Answer: Seth's meticulous lab work makes him better suited for Diagnostics than for Therapeutic Services

Explanation:

Since Seth is meticulous in his laboratory work, he'll fit in more at Diagnostics than for Therapeutic Services. One who is involved in diagnostic will be involved in different laboratory test, blood test etc and needs to be very careful while doing these tests.

His friendly nature would have made him more suited for therapeutic services as he'll relate more with customers and counsel them as well.

GalinKa [24]

Answer:

The condition of the room and its contents cause Mr. Utterson and Inspector Newcomen to plan a trip to the bank in hopes of catching Mr. Hyde.

Explanation:

The excerpt in the question came from the fourth chapter titled the Carew Murder Case. We can see in this chapter that inspector Newcomen and Mr. Utterson had been questioning Mr. Hyde's actions since they had seen him behave suspicious lately. The investigators visited Mr. Hyde's room during the investigation and pointed out that his house was in a mess. The inspectors then decided that Mr. Hyde may not know what happened in his house so they went straight to the bank to investigate further. They learned on their arrival at the bank that his account was loaded with millions of pounds. The scene strengthens the story because it finally shows enough evidence for the prosecutor and the officer to continue investigating Hyde and trying to prove his guilt.
