Answer:

This is a descriptive paragraph on 'Momma' or 'Mrs. Flowers.'

To help you write your own sentences, here is an example:

Mr Prescott is the coach of our basketball team. He is a the perfect example of role model in our school. If you need help, he is more than willing to help you where he can. As a coach, he teaches us life lessons and encourages to do our best in everything we do. If I could sum up his character in three words, I would definitely say that he is kind, helpful and caring.

Explanation:

In your own answer:

-Say who Momma or Mrs. Flowers is which introduces the character or person.

-To help your analysis of the character or person, mention two or more personality traits the person has such as being kind, helpful, caring.

-Use evidence from the text you have which would present Momma or Mrs. Flowers' personality traits to support your ideas.

Answer:

Sample Response: Momma is a strong, proud person who is not easily intimidated. She addresses Mrs. Flowers as an equal, even though Mrs. Flowers is clearly more refined and educated than she is. Sometimes Momma lacks an awareness of the feelings of those around her. Even though she clearly loves Marguerite and has conspired with Mrs. Flowers to help Marguerite speak again, Momma is not aware that Marguerite is embarrassed and Mrs. Flowers is uncomfortable when she makes Marguerite take her dress off.

If the writer paraphrases an opinion that she has read rather than reached independently, she is not required to cite the source
andrezito [222]
This statement is false.
Any time a writer paraphrases something he or she read somewhere, it means that he or she is paraphrasing somebody else's words, which means that person has to be credited for it. If the writer reached an opinion independently, then they wouldn't have to cite the source, but otherwise, they do, if they want to avoid plagiarism.
