Answer:

One gene for a particular trait is transcribed from DNA during transcription. The code for the gene is transferred by mRNA to the ribosome for protein production to begin. Proteins are constructed from a polypeptide chain of amino acids. Once the polypeptide chain is constructed, a protein is produced and the trait can be expressed.

Protist taxonomy has changed greatly in recent years as relationships have been re-examined using newer approaches. How do newer
Elis [28]

Answer:

The protists refer to the unicellular eukaryotic species, which comprise algae, fungi, and protozoa. Of these some are autotrophs and some are heterotrophs. They exhibit the tendency to survive in aquatic surroundings because of their feeding habits.

In older approaches, protists are categorized on the basis of their morphology. However, by using novel approaches like molecular genetics, they are being categorized on the basis of their genetics.

The amount of bacteria doubles every day. If there are 320 bacteria on day 6 , when will there be 5,120 bacteria?
Talja [164]

Answer:

Day 10

Explanation:

If the number of bacteria increases by a factor of two each day (i.e. it doubles), it will reach 5120 by day 10. At this rate, the colony likely started with 10 bacteria on day one and doubled each day to reach 320 by day 6.

Day 6- 320 bacteria

Day 7- 320×2= 640 bacteria

Day 8- 640×2= 1280 bacteria

Day 9- 1280×2= 2560 bacteria

Day 10- 2560×2= 5120 bacteria
