Well, in The Prince, Machiavelli openly addresses the atrocities of mankind, and approaches them honestly and cruelly, for instance, in the book the character creates an enemy he can defeat publicly to earn the respect of others. Put lightly, Machiavelli caused the people of his time, especially those in power, to think about the atrocities of man from a critical standpoint, and thus caused he created a "mirror-for-princes", something through which they could reflect upon their actions with and use metacognition either for deceit and power or good and weakness.

olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer :

The taxed amount at the 10 percent rate is, $8000

The taxed amount at the 28 percent rate is, $22400

Explanation : Given,

Total salary she will make in a year = $ 80000

Now we have to determine the taxed amount at the 10 percent rate.

Taxed amount = Total salary × Tax rate

The tax rate = 10 %

Taxed amount = \$ 80000\times 10\%

Taxed amount = \$ 80000\times \frac{10}{100}

Taxed amount = \$ 8000

Thus, the taxed amount at the 10 percent rate is, $8000

Now we have to determine the taxed amount at the 28 percent rate.

Taxed amount = Total salary × Tax rate

The tax rate = 28 %

Taxed amount = \$ 80000\times 28\%

Taxed amount = \$ 80000\times \frac{28}{100}

Taxed amount = \$ 22400

Thus, the taxed amount at the 28 percent rate is, $22400
