Answer:

$200,000 ; $234,120.81  ; and $185,279.83

Explanation:

For computing the issue price we need to applied the future value which is shown in the attachment below:

a. Given that,

Future value = $200,000

Rate of interest = 10%  ÷ 2 = 5%

NPER = 5  years  × 2 = 10 years

PMT = $200,000 × 10%   ÷ 2 = $10,000

The formula is shown below:

= -PV(Rate;NPER;PMT;FV;type)

So, applying the formula the issued price is $200,000

b. Given that,

Future value = $200,000

Rate of interest = 6%  ÷ 2 = 3%

NPER = 5  years  × 2 = 10 years

PMT = $200,000 × 10%   ÷ 2 = $10,000

The formula is shown below:

= -PV(Rate;NPER;PMT;FV;type)

So, applying the formula the issued price is $234,120.81

c. Given that,

Future value = $200,000

Rate of interest = 12%  ÷ 2 = 6%

NPER = 5  years  × 2 = 10 years

PMT = $200,000 × 10%   ÷ 2 = $10,000

The formula is shown below:

= -PV(Rate;NPER;PMT;FV;type)

So, applying the formula the issued price is $185,279.83

Iteru [2.4K]

Answer:

PV= $23,370.85

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Cash flow (1-3)= $5,000

Cash flow (4-5)= $6,500

Discount rate= 6%

To calculate the present value, first, we need to calculate the final value:

FV= {A*[(1+i)^n-1]}/i

A= annual cash flow

Year 1-3:

FV= {5,000*[(1.06^3) - 1] / 0.06

FV= 15,918

Year 4-5:

FV= {6,500*[(1.06^2) - 1]} / 0.06

FV= 13,390

Now, the present value:

PV= FV/(1+i)^n

PV= 15,918/(1.06^3)= 13,365.06

PV= 13,390/(1.06^5)= 10,005.79

PV= $23,370.85

Gershwin Wallcovering Inc. shipped the wrong shade of paint to a customer. The customer agreed to keep the paint upon being offe
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

d. Sales allowance.

Explanation:

Gershwin Wallcovering Inc. shipped the wrong shade of paint to a customer. The customer agreed to keep the paint upon being offered a 15% price reduction. The price reduction is an example of sales allowance. Sales allowance can be defined as the reduction or decrease in the price, charging less to the customer due to some negligence of the seller, issues with product, late delivery, delayed delivery, or wrong price tag and incorrect price charged. Sales allowance is being created when the buyer has been sent the bill, but before he or she pays for it. Same is the case which can be seen here in this case where Gershwin Wallcovering Inc. has shipped the wrong shade of paint to a customer and had to offer the sales allowance.

The basic principle used to value an asset acquired in a nonmonetary exchange is to value it at: A) Fair value of the asset(s) g
Advocard [28]

Answer: A) Fair value of the asset(s) given up.

Explanation:

Non-monetary exchange occurs when non-financial assets are exchanged in a transaction. Recording this transaction is based on the fair value of the assets exchanged and the recording is usually done in one of 3 ways being,

1. At the fair value of the asset transferred in exchange for it with a gain or loss on the exchange being recorded.

2. At the fair value of the asset received, if the fair value of this asset is more evident than the fair value of the asset transferred in exchange for it.

3. At the recorded amount of the surrendered asset, if no fair values are determinable or the transaction has no commercial substance.

You’ve got your budget, credit history, and savings in order. What’s your next step before shopping for a home? Shop for a mortg
frosja888 [35]

Find a real estate agent would be the right choice

Explanation:

The choices purely depend on the buyer. If he is new to buying home, then it is always preferable to go for "finding a real estate agent".

As a new buyer, he / she cannot directly jump onto "shop for mortgage". He/ she need guidance, a sample, an history to select the right one.

And only when you can find a suitable location or place, then only we can go to neighborhoods house and cross verify about our need.

The other option is to go for online listing. But still it will show only list of plots / house for sale and it cannot guide like a human.

During March, the production department of a process operations system completed and transferred to finished goods 25,000 units
djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

D. 165,000 materials; 144,000 conversion.

Explanation:

The concept of equivalent units measures the number of units in terms of percentage completion in the inputs introduced to outputs.

Calculation of the number of equivalent units with respect to both materials and conversion respectively for March.

Materials

Units Completed and Transferred (135,000 × 100%) = 135,000

Units in Ending Work in Process (30,000 × 100%)     =  30,000

Total Equivalent units of Production = 165,000

Materials

Units Completed and Transferred (135,000 × 100%) = 135,000

Units in Ending Work in Process (30,000 × 30%)      =     9,000

Total Equivalent units of Production = 144,000

Conclusion :

The equivalent units of production are 165,000 materials; 144,000 conversion.
