Answer:

Total Cash= $296,225

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Sales:

September= $235,000

October= $314,000

The company expects to sell 25% of its merchandise for cash.

Of sales on account, 70% are expected to be collected in the month of the sale and 30% in the month following the sale.

Cash collection for October:

Sales in cash= (314,000*0.25)= 78,500

Sales in account:

From September= (235,000*0.75)*0.3= 52,875

From October= (314,000*0.75)*0.70= 164,850

Total Cash= $296,225

Answer:

b. $520,000

a. $150,000

Explanation:

The debit to work in process Inventory account for materials is:$ 520,000

Materials Purchased  $ 800,000

Materials  Requisitioned $ 600,00

Less Indirect Materials     $ 80,000

Direct Materials        $ 520,000

The total Manufacturing Overheads are

Manufacturing Overheads  $ 160,000

Indirect Materials     $ 80,000

Indirect Labor        $ 50,000

Depreciation           $ 22,000

Utilities                     $ 8000

But the applied Manufacturing Overhead is calculated on direct labor hours as follows

Manufacturing Overhead Rate = $ 1050,000/ 70,000 = 15$ per hour

As 10,000 hours are used so 15 * 10,000=  $ 150,000

The applied overhead is credited to the Manufacturing account which is $ 150,000.

Marina CMI [18]

Explanation:

We have to note an important point here is that, Smith has plan to sell fraudulent identification card through Jones and he has done only Oral agreement.

An oral agreement does not have a proof. Any oral agreement cannot be taken as a proof legally. There must be a proper written agreement required to prove the relationship. There are certain standard too in written agreement.

For Example, agreement written on a normal white paper cannot be accepted. The agreement should be legally signed according the bond paper provided and authorized by the Government.

Considering all the above discussion, Jones stands right.
