I believe the theoretical probability he will get a card with a heart is 13/52 due to the fact that there are 4 types of suit which are diamonds, hearts, spades, and clubs causing is to be 13 of each. Therefore causing the probability to be 13/52. For Marco to choose a card without a heart on it is 39 if you add the other three suits.

nekit [7.7K]

Step-by-step explanation:

2y+3=5x-18

swap both sides

5x-18=2y+3

add 18 to both sides

5x-18+18=2y+3+18

5x=2y+21

divide both sides by

5x/5=2y+21/5

X=2y+21/5

You are having a meeting with the CEO of a soda company. You have interpreted the number of cans of soda produced versus profit
LenaWriter [7]
The shape of the graph is similar to the letter W; however, the region of interest will lie on the right of the origin, which means only the right half of the W(a negative number of cans cannot be produced). The profit produced will be maximized if the number of cans produced is greater than 3. The company will be at a loss if the number of cans produced is near 2.5. The break even situations are present if the company produces 2 or 3 cans.

s2008m [1.1K]

Complete question:

Responder:

número de respuestas correctas = 22

Explicación paso a paso:

Dado lo siguiente:

Número total de preguntas = 30

Deje respuestas correctas = y; Respuestas incorrectas = n

Marca otorgada por y = 5

Marca deducida por n = 2

Si el total de preguntas = 30; luego

y + n = 30 - - - - (1)

Puntuación total obtenida = 94; luego

5y - 2n = 94 - - - (2)

De 1),

y + n = 30

y = 30 - n

Sustituya y = 30 - n en equ (2)

5 (30 - n) - 2n = 94

150 - 5n - 2n = 94

150 - 7n = 94

-7n = 94-150

-7n = - 56

n = 56/7

n = 8

Sustituir n = 8 en (1)

y + n = 30

y + 8 = 30

y = 30 - 8

y = 22

y = número de respuestas correctas = 22

n = número de respuestas incorrectas = 8

A car company sells a scale model to of the size of one of its cars.
mixer [17]

Answer:

w = 13500 --- real windscreen

v = 408 --- scale volume

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

k = \frac{1}{10} --- scale factor

See attachment

Required

Complete the table

To get the windscreen (w) of the real car, we do the following computation

w = \frac{w_{scale}}{k^2}

This gives:

w = \frac{135}{(1/10)^2}

w = \frac{135}{1/100}

w = 13500

Next, the volume (v) of the scale mode

We make use of the following computation

v = v_{real} * k^3

So, we have:

v = 408000 * (1/10)^3

v = 408000 * 1/1000

v = 408
