What does Lincoln mean by saying "the rule of a minority . . . Is inadmissible"? The enslaved persons in the South did not have

the right to vote. As a minority, the South had the right to write its own constitution. Democracy does not work if people do not respect the results of an election.

Explanation:

What lincoln ment is that any election results can't truly be taken as democratic if few people vote. The slaves not being able to vote was the issue. A high majority of the people were controlled by people with worst interests in mind. The election results didn't deserve to be respected because they were unjust.

What did traveling on streetcars mean for many young people?
pshichka [43]

I do not think that the answer is A) because just because they are driving a type of car does not mean that They had less contact with other people their own age. I I do not think that the answer is B) because  just because they are driving a type of car does not mean that They could get to know each other without supervision. But It is C) I think because they are richer so They spent less time in the city, but D) is not correct I don't think because they must of had a lot of money to by a street car, and they would probably not spend a lot of money on a street car, and give up leisure activities.

So the answer is C)

Hope I helped.

How did the tariffs controversy expose sectional differences between the North and South?
vitfil [10]

The correct answer is number 2) the North manufactured goods to sell mainly to the Southern states, but the South preferred imports.

The tariffs controversy exposed sectional differences between the North and the South in that the North manufactured goods to sell mainly to the Southern states, but the South preferred imports.

The Congress of the United States passed the Tariff 0f 1828 on May 19, in order to protect the production of goods in the country, specifically in the states of the North. But Southern states immediately opposed to the act, heading by South Carolina, that considered the decision as to the "Tariff of Abominations," because the act set a 38% tax of most imported good. This represented a negative impact on the economy of the Southern states.

UNO [17]

Answer:

The field lines bend away from the second south pole.

Explanation:

Magnetic line of force are forces acting on a bar magnet in the magnetic field. It specifies the direction in which a magnet tends to move when placed in the field.

For bar magnets with south poles, the magnetic line of force tends to move away from the south poles of both magnets thereby creating a force of opposition between them since like poles of a magnet repels each other.
