1. True or False: A low BAL will always cause a hangover. True False
liberstina [14]
1. I am completely sure that this statement is false. Because HIGH BAL will ALWAYS cause a hangover. BAL is a blood-alcohol level, which means a level of alcohol intoxication. High BAL can be produced drinks with congeners, like whiskey, tequila and cognac.

2. According to its definition, complete statement should look like this: perception is what gives meaning to our senses. Perception is our ability to see or feel something. It helps us understand something or to become aware of something.

3. I am completely sure that judgment is the first ability affected by alcohol. High blood-alcohol level badly affects your judgement, coordination, vision and memory. Drinking alcohol increases your risk for life threatening diseases.

4. If my memory serves me well, the statement should be completed like this: Alcohol, or any other drug which reduces the supply of oxygen in the bloodstream, can impair the sensitivity of the cones which, in turn reduces the visual acuity or sharpness.
5. Hand-eye coordination, walking, and balance, also known as coordination, are adversely affected by alcohol. As I've mentioned it before in question 3 the coordination is badly affected by alcohol.

6. As far as I remember, short-term side effects of alcohol and other drugs include disrupted sleep. But it depends on an individual. All of the above can be the side effects of alcohol and other drugs. But if you need to choose only one option, than its the first one.

Ganezh [65]
A would be correct because anything that works for someone else may or may not work for you. It's also clear that she's sharing what worked for her. But also C and D fit because she could provide advice about how to achieve your own goals and get a healthy lifestyle. The reason I would choose A over the rest is because the title of the book does not say she's providing advice on what to do or not do. She is just sharing her experience with you. It may or may not help you and it might be something you can try but might not work for you. The other two would assume too much and not enough information was provided to make the assumption.
