Although all of the options prevented African Americans from voting on elections, the one who kept African Americas from nominating candidates for office was the option C.White primaries.

The White Primaries were southern laws of the Democratic party that blocked African Americans to voting on the primaries, prohibiting it. From 1896, along with the other disenfranchisement strategies (poll taxes, literacy tests and the Grandfather clauses), the White Primaries impeded the possibilities of the negro people from choosing a representative that would favor their causes; As in southern U.S the hardships for the African Americans were greater, a big amount of Black people would migrate to north and west, as we get to know as Great Migration.

The White Primaries was completely abolished only by the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Explain how some collaborators helped make genocide possible
zysi [14]

During the World War II, the Germans were very powerful, having large, well trained, and well equipped army, but that army was not endless and was not able to control everything. That is where the collaborators came to help. The Germans had numerous collaborators, and they were the ones that were doing the things on the terrain where the German army was not able to be present. The collaborators were loyal to Hitler and they obeyed his orders and ambitions, and one of those was to eliminate some ethnic groups. The Germans managed to get lot of people from their primary target groups, Jews, Slavs, and Gypsies in their own territory, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and they were performing genocide over them. In order to get the people of those ethnic groups, in the other territories, the collaborators were doing the job, such as the Hungarians, Lithuanians, Bulgarians, Croatians managed to get hundreds of thousands of people and send them into the concentration camps where lot of them lost their lives.

Why was HELIOCENTRISM so radical from a
religious perspective?
Paha777 [63]
Heliocentrism was the initial breakthrough in the Scientific Revolution which came from Polish mathematician and astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. His essential argument was that “at the middle of all things lies the sun” and that the earth, like the other planets, revolves around it. Thus, the reason why this theory was so radical from religious perspective was the fact that earth was no longer unique or at the obvious center of God’s attention. This challenged the previous understanding of the Catholic Church that the attention of the entire universe was centered on the earth and its human inhabitants, among whom God’s plan for salvation unfolded.

P.S. I hope this helped as I just read about this in ‘Ways of the World’ by Robert W. Strayer for AP World History :)

****40 points**** Think about some of the ideas for Reconstruction that you have learned about. In a short paragraph, describe s
andre [41]

The Reconstruction era was the period from 1863 to 1877 in American history. The term has two applications: the first applies to the complete history of the entire country from 1865 to 1877 following the American Civil War; the second, to the attempted transformation of the 11 ex-Confederate states from 1863 to 1877, as directed by Congress. Reconstruction ended the remnants of Confederate nationalism and ended slavery, making the newly free slaves citizens with civil rights apparently guaranteed by three new Constitutional amendments. Three visions of Civil War memory appeared during Reconstruction: the reconciliationist vision, which was rooted in coping with the death and devastation the war had brought; the white supremacist vision, which included terror and violence; and the emancipationist vision, which sought full freedom, citizenship, and Constitutional equality for African Americans.
