The answer is 2.

Upon hearing the idea of marrying Eileen, in the future, Stephen hids under the table, indicating that he doesn't share of the same opinion. In efforts to make him change his mind and join them, his mother, indirectly, suggests that he apologise, and, to reinforce, Dante adds another threat. The rhymes sound impress on Stephen that has quite a dilemma, which reflects his personal experience.

Dear Aunt,

I hope this letter finds you in the best of health. Through this letter, I wanted to ask you for a part-time job. Last year I came to meet you with Rohan (my friend). After our meeting, Rohan told me that you provide some part-time job to the college students. I am also a student at Ambala University and looking for some part-time job as well as a stay for my vacation. I have experience in cooking so during the busy summer season I can help you cooking breakfast. You can give me a suitable remuneration in return to my help.

Hope to see and join you soon.

Regards

Rahul

Vsevolod [243]

The most suitable answer to that would be D. “Places such as the Republic of Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan have vaulted into the technological era, barely pausing in the industrial age along the way.”
Here, Reagan stated that these countries are growing very fast and almost didn’t take part in the industrial age anymore because of the spreading of an economic freedom.

Considering the time period which Edwards delivers the sermon, how might his audience have reacted to his words?
Kruka [31]
His audience was mostly puritan as was the case in the 18th century. His audience was probably scared mindless because his sermons usually included scary and vivid description of suffering, hell, sins, the devil, which was all supposed to scare you into being a better christian.
