The biggest difference between a equinox and solstice is that a solstice is the point during the earths orbit around the sun at which the sun is at its greatest distance from the equator, while during an equinox, it’s at the closest distance from the equator. I’m a solstice the summers are longer, in equinox only happen 2 times a year when the earths axis is tilted.
