Answer and Explanation:

Frontier town is a place where people move to live with their consent. They willingly move to that particular place. The small number of people living there, the government does not control those areas. However, when the area got populated, frontier towns are usually turned into small cities. Because of the number of people, facilities are being provided to them. And thus, govt. Can take control over that town.

Main Reason:

The other main reason for turning the frontier town into a small city is to have a check and balance. People get out of control when there is no particular way of dealing and the jungle's law being implemented. To make sure and avoid these types of disturbance, frontier towns are being turned into small cities.

Explain the geographical context for the development of the Babylonian Empire.
Nataly [62]

Babylonia was situated in the area known as Mesopotamia which means "between the rivers" in Greek. This area was in the Near East in roughly the same geographical position as modern Iraq. Two great rivers flowed through this land: the Euphrates and the Tigris. Along these two rivers were many great trading cities such as Ur and Babylon on the Euphrates.

Babylonia is placed on a flat plain and the Tigris and Euphrates rivers flow through it. Their course flows from Anatolia and Syria to the Persian Gulf. Mountains surround the East and North sides of the plain, the Zagros chain and Kurdistan, and the Syrian and Arabian deserts are in the west and south.

The development of civilization in the area was fueled by the existence of the Euphrates which was a perfect place for trade. To the north they could trade up the river to Syria and beyond and could be place with the cities of Sumer to the south. It became a large city full of economics benefits with lots of merchants and tradesmen, so that many people felt attracted to live there.

Rina8888 [55]

I would go with the answers:

The effects of the Reformation were widespread.

Catholicism was still dominant in Europe.

There were many Calvinist centers in France.

The answers that are incorrect:

Most people in Norway were Catholic.

Because Norway at that time was mostly protestant.

England and Scotland had the most Muslim centers.

Also not true because there weren't many muslims (if there were any there at that time) living in England or Scotland.

An example of due process of law as guaranteed by the fifth amendment is A. Trying someone twice for the same crime B. Being giv
Anni [7]

An example of due process of law is guaranteed by the fifth amendment is:

B. Being given a fair trial before a jury.

Further explanation

The Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution allows defendants to have the right to a fair trial and protects them against the government. Be able to have a jury trial is not the only right that the fifth amendment provides. It allows two other important things too such as:

 • the prohibition to be judged twice for the same crime;
 • to have to testify against oneself.

A jury is a group of citizens, randomly selected from the population to attend a trial and then make a final decision on the case. Once chosen, the citizen has to fulfill this role as a duty. The juries usually consist of 12 citizens. They are allowed to ask questions to the accused to make the best decision. Then, the jury will debate and decide the accused is guilty or not.

This right is a great democratic advance. It protects American citizens from corruption. The judgments made by one man, who may be wrong or decide to make the wrong decision, are more likely to be unfair than collective judgments.
