Answer: The answer is given below

Explanation:

The question is about a way that the status of women under Islam is different from that of the status of women in China during the period c.1200-1450.

One main way that they were different was that with regards to men, there was more freedoms among the Islamic women than the Chinese society.

A good example of that above is that while the Chinese women depended more on their men, the Islamic women were more independent as they won property and in cases whereby they are tired of their marriages, they can initiate divorce.

Nimfa-mama [501]

This question asks you to brainstorm in order to generate ideas. When you brainstorm, you do not usually reach a concrete solution. However, you might be able to clarify the path you want to follow in order to continue your research. You could start by answering these questions:

What interests you about this topic?

This is a personal answer, but you could think about the time period in terms of culture, art, politics and society and see what parts of it you might find interesting. For example, we can choose Reconstruction as an interesting event of the time period.

What do you already know about this topic?

Reconstruction (roughly 1863 to 1877) was the period of time after the Civil War during which the Confederacy and the Union needed to be reunited. It was also the time period during which former slaves needed to be integrated into mainstream American society, and given proper rights and freedoms.

How does this topic relate to you or to people you know?

If you know anyone from a different region of the country, or any African Americans, it is likely that Reconstruction affected their ancestors. Moreover, the country has become stronger and more unified thanks to the policies passed during this time period.

What is appropriate for an essay on the topic?

An appropriate topic could be the role that African Americans played in Reconstruction, or the goals that African American leaders achieved during Reconstruction.

LuckyWell [14K]
The correct answer choice is D.

Because the second amendment involves the "right to bear arms," the federal government would be unable to pass a law preventing citizens to carry concealed weapons. This amendment makes that federal action unconstitutional.

Alisiya [41]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options for this question, we can comment on the following.

Indeed, despite societal mores that demanded separation of the races, "white slumming" (whites intermingling with blacks in black nightclubs) was common during the Jazz Age.

This cross-class socializing did not transfer to broader society because white people only intermingled with African Americans in those moments, enjoying the musical talent of black people. And that's it. Whites were never interested in strengthening their relationships with blacks. Jus saw black people as an artist, to have a good time and have fun in the clubs, with no intention to initiate a friendship.

For whites, was as simple as "I pay for the show, have a good time, establish the necessary contact to interact, and that's it." Segregation still existed under the Jim Crow laws and the black codes.

The Jazz Age occurred during the decade of the 1920s. It was a movement in the United States after World War I. From that movement, a new musical genre called Jazz emerged. African Americans created this new style of music that used the radio to spread the music to all kinds of audiences during the 1920s. Among the famous Jazz musicians of the Jazz Age, we find Cab Calloway and Duke Ellington.
