Answer:

- It can describe what happens between cultures, but not explain why those differences occur.

Explanation:

Multicultural psychology primarily aims to study the impact of culture on human behavior and their cognition. It describes how contextual backgrounds and cultural factors affect human psyche and influence their thoughts, actions, and feelings. The deficit or flaw of this study is that it describes the diversity between cultures and how they affect individual psychology but fails to explain the reason due to which these differences take place.

Transcendentalism believes in the inherent goodness of people and nature and reinforces the idea that society is capable of corrupting the soul of an individual. Furthermore, "Orphic Sayings" was one of Alcott's contribution to The Dial. Alcott's work got favorable reviews and was considered highly valuable for its philosophy. Eva8 [605]

This question is about "A quilt of a country".

Answer:

C. She supports the idea that every generation of immigrants arrives with the same dreams and faces the same problems of assimilation.

Explanation:

In paragraph 7, the author shows that even if cultural diversity prevents the country from reaching a national character, it brings all immigrants together in the same story and still achieves American glomorization about overcoming difficulties.

This is because all immigrants, including those who lived in the country in remote times, came with the same dreams and goals and had the same difficulties to establish themselves and readapt to the new environment. This unites them all in a single concept, thus being able to create a national character.
