In the first few tests, she was tested on her loyalty for her husband that made her win the heart fully of Gualtieri. As the first lady of the village, the people were surprised by how charismatic nature and kindness she has. She had earned the respect of the people so much and they loved her as well. But during, the ignorant and foolish tests of the her husband, this led to test her own mental state of heartbreaks because of her children and was put to shame by her husband. mart [117]

Hello. You ask this question incomplete and do not specify what prevents me from answering it accurately. However, to help you out, I will give you an answer that will help you get the correct answer.

The reasons why you commit acts are the goals you have with each activity you plan to do, this is directly linked to your wishes and the motivation to commit such things. To solve the possible problems you must rely on rationality, where you will interpret the problems and be able to see a weak point in them, to act and exterminate them.

THE UNSPOKEN HISTORY BEHIND A SURNAME
s2008m [1.1K]

Answer:

D.

Explanation:

"The Unspoken History Behind a Surname" is an article written by Lolly Bowean. The author through this article shares her experience when people inquire about the origin of her surname.

The author writes that when people probe her about her origin, at times it is painful to discuss it. As it will mean to go back to the times of enslavement and the legacy of Americans. The author says that when, once a lady asked her about her origin and she explained to her how Boweans came from through the marrriage of 'Norwoods' and 'Wakefields', the lady almost whispered that 'they were whites.'

The author then recalls how difficult it becomes, at times, to discuss about her origin as the baggage of race comes upon her. She says that though she is not ashamed of her enslaved ancestors, but people rarely wants to discuss about the history.

So, the correct answer is option D.

What do you think Johnson’s perspective is on change in the English language? Does he think it is good or bad? Does he think it
fomenos
 1. Johnson thinks that change in the English language is good. He thinks that the man who spends his time thinking will come up with good ideas and these will need new words. He also refers to the men who do not have much time to speculate but will turn ideas into popular opinions; these will also create new practices and, as a result, new words will be created. These ideas are from these lines : "Those who have much leisure to think ....... proportion as it alters practice."
 2. He thinks language change should not be stopped. " As by the cultivation of various sciences, a language is amplified, it will be more furnished with words deflected from their original sense..". Johnson thinks that change cannot be stopped, though. There are many factors, internal and external, that make language change. He says that he will not be able to comply with what many schoolars have asked from him: to stop any language alteration.

Why does the author introduce the article with a reference to "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"?
ss7ja [257]

Answer:

The correct answer is C.

The author seeks to to make a comparison between Jekyll's transformation and real life.

Explanation:

In the case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Dr Henry Jekyll changes himself into an Edward Hyde an evil doer: the fall out of Dr Jekylls experiment.

At the end of the strange story, Dr Jekyll before his death wills his estate to his evil persona Edward Hyde.

So the article refers to this story with the intention to consider the extent to which the legal frameworks will permit the sort of transfer that happened between Jekyll and Hyde, were it to happen in real life.

Cheers!
