A) You are going to write a blog post (80- 130 words) about this question: How important are exams? Rad the task.
ICE Princess25 [194]

Answer:

Last week I took my Math exam. I started studying on time in order to avoid stress, but some of my friends could not finish the exam, as they did not have enough time to do it. Exams are really important when it comes to our education and our everyday habits because this practice learns us how to be responsible, helps us in getting jobs and provides us some basic knowledge we will need during our lives.

When it comes to studying, the most important thing is to develop good study habits.

Our biggest problem is the fact we don't know how to concentrate on the matter. If we learn how to prioritize our tasks and different subjects, do our homework every day and start learning a couple of days before the exam we won't have any studying issues.

If you tend to achieve success on your exams, you have to be committed, study every day and revise your studying material before the exam.

British government leaders didn't present the Zimmermann telegram to Wilson for a few weeks. Hall reminded them that outrage was
Alisiya [41]

Answer:

From the information in the excerpt, one can conclude that Hall is certain that the growing outrage by the American public would help Britain's cause.

Explanation:

The above mentioned excerpt is a part of the novel 'The Dark Game' authored by Paul Janeczko, which is based on the true spy stories involved in the US and it also depicts the role played by the spies and intelligence during the Revolutionary war to the Cold war.

From the excerpt, we get to know about the tension arising in the mind of Hall and we can conclude that Hall is very well aware about the fact that the growing rage among the American public will do them no good and will only lead to fulfilling the cause of Britain.

4. Analyze What does the poet express about the world in the final stanza
andrew-mc [135]

This question seems to be incomplete. However, there´s enough information to find the right answer.

Answer:

The overall message of the poem is that freedom and safety are not only potentially temporary ("here we are free for a while"), but also everyone´s responsibility, whether we are directly affected or not.

Explanation:

In "Elsewhere," by Derek Walcott, the Caribbean poet reflects on the oppression, cruelty, and injustice happening in many places around the world that are ignored by those not affected by them. In the final stanza, he states that the "darker crime", meaning what´s even worst than those crimes, is the lack of action by those who could act against such injustices. According to him, showing concern but doing nothing about it is making "a career of conscience."
