(5*3+3)2 =(15+3)2 = (18)2 = 36.

Louise's answer is false because she had to calculate first the numbers in the brackets and she didn't do it.

Hope this helps !

Louis is wrong as you do the things in the bracket first there for you would do this (5x3+3)2= (15+3)2= (18)2= 18x2 = 36

QUICK QUICK PLZZ! ANSWER QUESTION ONLY 1 MINUTE ONLY WITH SOLUTION! THE YOU WILL BE THE BRAINLIEST
nekit [7.7K]

Answer:

576.2

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the area of a triangle is \frac{bh}{2}. Since this square pyramid is essentially four triangles with base length 21.5 feet and height 13.4 feet, we can calculate the area that they take up with the formula 4\cdot \frac{13.4\cdot 21.5}{2}=576.2 square feet. Hope this helps!

A scale model of a merry-go-round and the actual merry-go-round are similar. a. How many times greater is the base area of the a
Kipish [7]
The area ratio is the square of the linear dimension ratio. So if the merry-go-round base is circular, the area contains the square of the radius. If a polygon, the base can be divided into triangles. The area of each triangle involves the product of the base length and the height, so since both have the same change of length, the product will square the scaling ratio.
Let’s say the ratio of corresponding lengths is x:1 then the ratio of the base areas is x²:1.
The question doesn’t provide any figures.
Let’s put some in as an example. Let the actual merry-go-round be circular with a diameter of 20 feet, while the model is one foot in diameter. So the ratio of the actual ride and it’s model is 20:1. The area of the base of the actual ride is 100π sq ft. The area of the base of the model is π/4 sq ft. We expect the ratio of these areas to be 20²=400. 100π/(π/4)=400.

22. What is the percent of increase for a population<br> that changed from 438,000 to 561,000?
ra1l [238]

Answer: 28.08%

Step-by-step explanation: To find the percent increase, we divide the amount of change by the original number.

The amount of change is the difference between the two numbers which in this case is 561,000 - 438,000 and the original number is 438,000.

561,000 - 438,000 is 123,000 so we are left with 123,000 divided by 438,000 which is 0<em>.</em>2808. Finally, since our problem is asking us for a percent, we write 0<em>.</em>2808 as a percent by moving the decimal point two places to the right to get 28.08%.

So when the population changes from 438,000 to 561,000, it has increased by 28.08%.

The velocity v of blood that flows in a blood vessel with radius r and length ℓ at a distance r from the central axis is v(r) =
pogonyaev
v(r)=4P\eta\ell(R^2-r^2)

(assuming R is the radius of the vessel, and that 0\le r\le R)

The average velocity of the blood is given by

\displaystyle\frac1{R-0}\int_{r=0}^{r=R}v(r)\,\mathrm dr
=\displaystyle\frac{4P\eta\ell}R\int_{r=0}^{r=R}(R^2-r^2)\,\mathrm dr
=\dfrac{4P\eta\ell}R\left(\dfrac23R^3\right)
=\dfrac{8P\eta\ell}3R^2
