Congressmen Steve King’s response to Brutus on natural rights is that he supports them. But there lies his contradiction. In one way he says he supports the rights of individuals and the rights of the states. But on the other way, he truly does not believe in individualism. That is why he does not have a good argument to present. Brutus, instead, supports the idea that humans are free and have natural rights.
