Answer:

Explanation:

Kurt Wenner's artwork is very unique for many reasons. He creates artwork with optical illusions that allow them to seem as though they are part of our own 3D world. Wenner accomplishes this by using many techniques such as linear perspective, meaning that depending where the person was viewing the painting it would seem different, but if they viewed from a specific point it would appear as though it was in our 3D would due to the elongated style of painting. Another technique that Wenner uses is interpositioning, he places objects in the painting strategically in order to make them appear to have depth. All of this coupled with texture gradient which makes objects look incredibly detailed and realistic makes the paintings come to life.

Answer:

constructing her speech into three main parts that highlights the need for women suffrage.

Explanation:

In her “Address to Congress on Women’s Suffrage”, Carrie Chapman Catt uses the rhetorical device of kairos by constructing her speech into three main parts that highlights the need for women suffrage. This can be seen in the beginning of her speech when she mentions "Three distinct causes made it inevitable."

As kairos as a literary device means using balance and decorum in the speech/writing, Carrie makes sure that her speech contain step by step explanation for every objective. She then finally comes to the end of her speech by projecting the listeners and stakeholders of their part in the bringing a change.

Carrie uses the opportunity of kairos to direct her speech to the listeners and statesmen by asking them whether to support women's suffrage or not. This can be seen in the last lines of her speech "Woman suffrage is coming -- you know it. Will you, Honorable Senators and Members of the House of Representatives, help or hinder it?"

C)the horses drawing the sun

Juliet is addressing the horses drawing the sun. She uses the words "gallop" and "steeds" to describe them. Also, in the background information provided, it says that Phoebus has a "horse-drawn chariot that travels across the sky each day." The sun is not a steed, nor it is plural. The same is true of Phoebus and Phoebus's chariot. Therefore, these options are all eliminated. The horses are the only possible answer.
