There are quite a few things you can do to be environmentally responsible. For instance, you can start by using less water, and keeping it clean. Fresh water is essential for life. It is impossible to live without it. However, 95% of cities worldwide still dump raw sewage into seas and water bodies. Use only as much water as needed and do avoid polluting water bodies. Another way you can be environmentally responsible is by using less plastic and paper and recycling more. People today rely more on laptops and gadgets than on anything else. It is easy to not use much paper. By recycling one short ton of paper, you can save 17 mature trees. You can also use canvas bags instead of plastic bags. Recycling is easy and one of the best ways to live green. Finally, you can also become eco-friendly by not littering. One way to stop people from littering is by increasing the amount of dustbins in the neighbourhood. People will not feel the need to litter if a dustbin is right around the corner. Littering harms the beauty of the city, harms the environment, and also pollutes the air and should be stopped immediately. These are ways a person could be more environmentally responsible.
