Answer:

The correct answer would be A) Hydra may reproduce asexually.

Asexual reproduction refers to the reproduction which involves only single parent. It does not involve the formation and fusion of the gametes.

Offspring produced from asexual reproduction are often referred to as clone as they are identical to the parent cell or organism.

It includes fission (binary and multiple), budding, fragmentation, vegetative propagation et cetera.

Hydra can reproduce asexually by the process of budding. During this process, a bud or outgrowth is formed on one side of the body of the hydra. It grows while remain attached to the parental body. Once, it is matured enough, it dissociates from the parental body to become a new independent individual.

Ilya [14]
In eukaryotes, replication takes place in the nucleus as prokaryotes do not have a true nucleus and replication takes place in the cytoplasm. The nucleus of the eukaryotes is the location where genetic material (DNA) is found; in prokaryotes, the genetic material is condensed in the cytoplasm called the nucleoid. There are multiple replication forks or multiple origins of replication in eukaryotes in contrast to prokaryotes which only has one origin of replication. Lastly, replication in eukaryotes occurs at multiple points along the chromosome; in contrast with prokaryotes where it occurs at just one point on the chromosome.
