Answer:

Dear sir or madam,

First of all, I would like to thank you for the admission to this prestigious school. The reason for this letter is that I do not find the program suitable for me.

The program the school offered me is in English and Literature, it is a complete program and suitable for students who want to pursue a career in English, but my interests are in Computer and Science. A program in English would not help me to grow in this field.

Another reason why I do not find the program suitable is that it is centered in American literature and does not include English literature or other languages, which can be beneficial to have different points of view and develop better critical thinking skills.

Due to the mentioned reasons, I would like for my program to be changed to one that fits my interests and challenges me to develop my skills. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Susan Johnson.

Explanation:

When we write to the headteacher or a teacher in the school, we should use formal language.

First, we have to address the person by writing dear and their name. As we do not know the name, we use sir or madam or headmaster. Then, we make an introduction where we talk about why we are writing. In the following paragraphs, we describe in detail why we want the headteacher to change our program. Lastly, we politely ask for the program to be changed and say our goodbyes.

In the ninth paragraph, the author makes which of the following claims about the early years of her writing career?
Sloan [31]

Answer:

Hello. You did not provide the text options, but I can help you by saying that in the ninth paragraph the author says that in the early years as a writer, she had little confidence in her ability to write, but she continued writing and improving even so.

Explanation:

In the ninth paragraph, the author reveals how her resilience was important for her establishment as a writer. This is because she says that at the beginning of her career, she did not feel confident in writing, she did not think that the texts she wrote were good and she was very insecure about her writing skills, but she was resilient and continued writing even thus, believing that it would get better little by little and more each day.

What is significant about the following excerpt from F.Scott Fitzgerald’s “Winter Dreams”
Step2247 [10]

Answer:

soooo...

Explanation:

Well .... in my  opinion I would state that the significance of the Excerpt

from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “Winter Dreams” is how she conveys

her own feelings. In this excerpt Judy is described as a beautiful

girls who was born in a rich family. She was spoiled and developed a

feeling of self-entitlement. She truly believes that whatever she

desires, she can get it.

Judy’s actions on the golf course are similar to the way she treats

men.

hope it helps, Regards.

A Very Important Event In My Life

Many times people do not remember their daily activities, but if something unexpected or remarkable happens, it can be memorable for the rest of their lives. Am sure that everyone has an event that is memorable in their lives or even others have some events that they do not want to remember because they would remind them of old scars that that makes tears run down. There are good memories that regularly make us happy when we talk or share them with anyone. As creatures that have lived on this planet one should be having a memorable or bad event. Sometimes in one’s life there are some events that teach one a certain lesson and end up becoming a fundamental guideline in life. Life is loaded with startling shocks. There are numerous open doors when one can furtively wish for something energizing to happen like something strange. This paper seeks to narrate an important event that happened in my life and still today it still rings in my mind.

The most critical occasion in my life has been going to MASC’s late spring authority camp in 2005 and 2006. Those ten days were maybe the most helpful days of my life. MASC remains for Missouri Relationship of Understudy Chambers. Since I joined our school’s Understudy Committee my senior year, I had the chance to go to their late spring camp. When I touched base, as a Level 1 camper, I was overpowered by the various insane and active campers. I didn’t know how I would fit in since I was modest around new individuals. Everybody was part into twenty six unique chambers. I was in chamber ‘M’. That week transformed me from a shy, new student Board member to a person who was totally fine with acting naturally and certain for his first year in student council. The main significant occasion was the Olympics. Each of the twenty six councils met up and took part in various recreations. This was the point at which our council first genuinely reinforced and brought me out of my customary range of familiarity. I figured out how imperative collaboration is and how to grasp everybody’s distinctive abilities. I am an exceptionally focused individual, however amid that night; I understood that it did not make a difference who won. All that made a difference was the recollections being made. Another action we did, that majorly affected me, was the show. Every committee made a farce to a well known tune and sang it before the whole camp.

Overall these two events were and are still memorable in my life. At times people do not remember their daily activities, but if something unexpected or remarkable happens, it can be memorable for the rest of their lives. Just like me everyone has an event that is memorable in their lives or even others have some events that they do not want to remember because they would remind them of old scars that that makes tears run down.
