Hi!
The role of telephone systems can be described as follows:
It acts as a medium of communication within the company, and outside as well. ... Features like Internet faxing, toll free number and a PBX system helps in increasing the volume of calls and promoting effective communication as well.
The activity that helps Francie avoid telling lies is mindfulness. She is the protagonist of "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn." The book tells the story of Francie from the time she is 11 until she goes to college at 17. Although she struggles with many problems throughout the book (alcoholism, poverty, family problems, etc.) the novel ultimately contains a message of hope. The novel also discusses the dreams of immigrant families in the United States during the early twentieth century.
These lines contain an alliteration.
"Soon, her father grew impatient with her fear and began to bait the bird with offerings of bloody chunks of beef."
An alliteration uses repetitive sounds, letter combinations, or words that begin with the same letters. They are also known as tongue-twisters.
We also know that these lines do not rhyme, do not contain any metaphors, and do not form a narrative.
Orwell's revision is a parody of highly technical, quasi-intellectualist style and tone of the academia. He uses robust vocabulary, devoid of imagery that is characteristic of Ecclesiastes' sentence, big words that mean almost nothing, and certainly don't convey anything beyond their abstract meaning. Whereas Ecclesiastes' sentence is written in 1st person and highly evocative, Orwell's is impersonal, faceless, and drab.
