NARRATIVE: In this text, the author, Brené Brown, describes an event from her teenage years that forever damaged her relationshi

p with her parents. What event from your life so far might you look back on years from now as having a lasting impact on your personality, your relationships, or your outlook—for better or for worse? Describe the event in a personal narrative that, like Brown’s text, includes a clear setting, a sequence of events, descriptive sensory details, and a reflection on the experience’s significance.

drek231 [11]
The last option is correct. The passage uses a specific example, but the main idea of the passage is that the systems in our body are connected, so laughter (because it’s a sign of happiness) can relieve stress and boost our immune system.

Which sentence is the most subjective statement? A. Bryan thanked the owners for the raise and vowed to continue his hard work
Likurg_2 [28]
Subjective: based on or influenced by personal experiences, beliefs, thoughts

I just copied and pasted this to see if anyone else had an answer, one person said B and that got 5 stars and a few thanks, so I'd go with B. Also, B seems objective because it is influenced by the person's feeling of the character.

The Human Drift by Jack London (excerpt)
Iteru [2.4K]

The correct answer is I, II, and III.

The first sentence support the thesis statement by using a metaphor: it compares a settler cleaning weeds from a corn field with men killing all types of life to comfortably settle in a land.

The second sentence expresses how men have devoted years and centuries developing and improving different types of weapons that would make them better killers.

And the third sentence shows that man has taken his desire for killing so far that he even wants to kill the microorganisms that live in their homes.

you are ravi\rani. you observe the youth of today is more attracted towards the western culture. they are blindly aping the west
Nadusha1986 [10]

Concerns about the adoption of Western culture among youth and adolescents.

Response to the article "Western influence on youth today"

Dear Editor,

In reading the article and evaluating the influence of Western culture in our society, especially among young people and adolescents, I could not help noticing how it can be harmful to our society.

With the intense adoption of factors of Western culture by our youth, I am concerned that our own culture and customs are abandoned and forgotten over time. With that in mind, I believe that the best way is to make the concepts of our culture attractive to young people in our society, mainly through articles and artistic presentations, which not only show the value of our culture, but show young people how important it is respect and admire cultures from other regions without abandoning ours.

The Wild Dog of Caucomgomoc The theme
Svetllana [295]

Answer:

The short story has a beautiful theme.

Explanation:

“THE WILD DOG OF CAUCOMGOMOC” by “Charles Boardman Hawes” is a short story in which a dog loses his owner and as a result of this he doesn’t interact with any other human. He stopped making any friendly relationship with humans. However, this behaviour of dog changed when he supports the town in a way no one expected.

Thus, the beautiful theme of the story is that meaningful friendships can come from places from where someone is not expecting.
