Answer:

Moses praised God for mercy after God showed him his rage and power.

Explanation:

God showed Moses that he was the one chosen to lead his people out of Egypt to the promised land. Moses had been a man with an unfortunate story in almost every aspect. Apart from all that, the wrath of God had been demonstrated in his presence, since he had sent the seven plagues to the people of Egypt. And when he had finally managed to free his people from the clutches of the Pharaoh, they began to praise mud gods. After all this, Moses saw and knew the wrath of God, and knew that his power was real. By living this experience, he decided to ask God for mercy for his people, which he had released from the pharaoh.
