The Fifteenth Amendment was the initial phase in giving full voting rights to African Americans. Notwithstanding, Jim Crow laws made more confinements to these rights. With the entry of the Voting Rights Act, the Fifteenth Amendment was authorized as voting confinements were evacuated.

The Fifteenth Amendment was the initial move in awarding complete voting rights to African Americans. But, Jim Crow laws generated more constraints on these rights. With the passage of the Voting Rights Act, the Fifteenth Amendment was implemented as voting constraints were lifted.

The Fifteenth Amendment:

The Fifteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution forbids the central and state jurisdictions from rejecting a voter the right to vote based on that citizen's "race, color, or former position of subjection".

Which TWO of the following were main causes of Arab-Israeli conflicts in the twentieth century?
andrew11 [14]
Two main causes of Arab Israel conflicts in the twentieth century were:

a) the division of Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states.

This general statement is quite known, as all three monotheistic religions claim ownership of the Holy Land.
We can generally say that after the Crusades, Christians remained out of the conflict due to the massive losses they faced when they had tried to invade and conquer it (when Salah Al deen was at power, before the rise of the Ottoman empire).

I am not sure about this one, but I assume the best answer would be D)US support for Israels military

It's a generally known fact that the US is a close ally of Israel, and this is mainly why there are immense issues and conflicts between the two religions whom are living in the same territory/land.

Generally, this topic tends to be those ones that kind of get biased responses (you know, due to people taking sides). I tried making this response as non-biased as possible, filtering it from opinion and such.

Hope this helps. Comment if you need assistance. Glad to assist! :)

Andrej [43]

Health care in North Carolina changed during the Progressive Era by giving advanced medical training and hospital quality improved

Explanation:

North Carolina was the highly populated and during the progressive era reports stated that many young individuals were not willing to join in the army due to various health concerns. It was supervised and an immediate federal measure called Pie commission was formed. It worked for the medical benefits received by the customers.

It aimed at establishing quality oriented hospitals and many trained physicians and nurses were appointed. At schools, medical examination was compulsory and many doctors who were trained received scholarship if they agreed to work in remote rural undeserved areas for the health and welfare of the community.

Soon, Pie commission understood that the funds that were appropriated were not adequate and hence larger federal funds were invested in health departments. Much health insurance coverage was provided to the citizens in North Carolina.

Segregation did not restrict from the medical services to render benefits and many African Americans yielded many benefits out of it. Emergence of North Carolina institute of medicine aimed at graduating many trained doctors who worked relentlessly for the health development of its citizens.
