first of all. abuse is a really serious problem that can happen to anyone and anywhere, so if one of your friends is being abused and he/she trusts you enough to help, walking away isn't the best option. you should seek for help from authorities, a trusted adult, and emergency hotlines to make sure that safety is the first priority.
