"Sentences" is the punning word in #1, for judges give out sentences. And teachers, as well. Get it? Sentences?
"Manor" is the punning word in #2. Get that? Castle? Home? Manor instead of manner? A pun is a joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word or fact that there are words that sound alike but have different meanings.

Defend. I people cannot set aside their own agenda for the team, and put forth a team effort they do not belong on the team. A team requires all members to co-operate in a manner that is wholly for the team's betterment, and success.
1. You can see through the comparison to a mountain, that the grandpa is tall and always there 'looming' (hovering) over the speaker. You can see that the speaker does not speak much around his grandpa, as he is "silent as a stone".
2. These details show that the speaker is impressed by his grandpa and looks up to him the way a stone would look up to a mountain-it shows that he hopes one day he will grow to be like his grandpa.
3. The theme of this poem is shown through the way the speaker looks at his grandpa and the shed. The shed needs more than paint because it is so old, which relates to his grandpa and the theme of growing older.
In "A Raisin in the Sun" shows Mama's dream someday of having her own little garden at the back of her own house. Though she's close at quitting and giving up her dream, nurturing her plants simply implies that she's not giving up her dream, herself and of course, her children as well.
