Answer: C. The events of the Inferno take place before Dante was exiled from Florence.

Dante Alighieri was an Italian poet, writer and political thinker. He is the author of The Divine Comedy, considered one of the greatest works of Mediaeval literature. The work draws on Dante's experience of exile from his native city in Florence. However, the events of Inferno take place before Dante was exiled from Florence. Inferno is the first section of this epic poem, the other two being Purgatory and Paradise.

Why does Dickinson set the poem “Dying” in an ordinary bedroom, which isn’t even described? What might be her purpose in choosin
storchak [24]
I would think that setting the scene of someone dying is appropriate to be in a bedroom where a sick person would most likely be (if not in a hospital) such as someone in palliative care for example and the bedroom stillness is commented on broken only by a fly and whose buzz perhaps accentuated the otherwise stillness. If the person's death was outside or in a public place it would more likely be the result of a, say an accident, or say an assassination such as that of Martin Luther King so since it is inside in a bedroom it indicates the dying is just a normal death from illness and/or old age.

Which aspect of the following poem might imagists most admire?
sasho [114]
Imagists believed that poems should have "no ideas but in things." In other words, they would described powerful images, and instead of explaining what those images meant, they would let the reader decide what the meaning or value of those images might be.

Imagists were especially fond of inviting the reader to recognize how very different sorts of images can actually be really similar. Ezra Pound famously did this with his short poem "In a Station of the Metro," which associates "faces in the crowd" with "petals on a wet, black bough."

The poem in your question does something very similar by associating the cat's footprints in the snow with the blossoming flowers of a plum tree. The writer wants you to recognize the odd visual similarity of the footprints and the flowers, ideally to show how there's a kind of cosmic connectedness in the world by (because two very different things end up being really similar).

That's why I think your best answer is A.
