Answer:

The correct answer is option C, that is, HIV/AIDS.

Explanation:

In the given case, Brian could be suffering from HIV/AIDS. The mentioned condition attacks the immune system and damages the WBCs, that is, the cells, which are used to defend the infections. In the given case, Brian is even not able to get over a common cold condition and is always getting sick.

These are the indications that something has affected the immune system, and at the same time, Brian has also contracted the fungal infection in his chest. As his body is not being able to fight off the cold virus and his WBCs count is also low, this suggests that Brian would have been suffering from HIV/AIDS.

Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

According to Erikson's theory, Rob is probably facing the psychosocial conflict of generativity and is likely to develop stagnation

Explanation:

The seventh stage of Erik Erikson's theory of psychosocial develpment is Generativity vs. Stagnation. This example is a clear case of this stage because the signs of this condition are overexertion at work followed by dissatisfaction between the ages of 40 and 65 years old. The lack of feeling fulfilled and accomplishment may cause this.
