Answer:

0.3 m

Explanation:

When a person is myopic it means that light rays from distant object are focused in front of retina so in order to correct this, we use concave lens. The concave lenses focuses these rays on the retina.

Wearing glasses will not change the eye in any way. The diverging lens is simply used to form an image of the object at a distance where the myopic person can see it clearly. Another myopic individual that is not wearing a lens can see clearly objects that fall between their near point and their far point, as well as an individual wearing glasses can see images that fall between their near point and their far point.

Lens' power= -3 diopters = 1/ focal length,f.

Therefore, f= 1/-3 = - 0.3

Far point = -(-0.3) = 0.3 m

Which of the following calcium supplements is correctly matched with its definition? a. Dolomite is the simplest form of purifie
Over [174]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

d. An amino acid chelate is an acid-buffering agent used to counter excess acidity in the stomach.

The chelates can pass through the stomach and resist its natural acidity (HCl), due to its stronger chemical bonds. An amino acid in its chelate form like CaCO_3 simultaneously counters excess acidity, because of its alkaline nature. After passing the stomach, it is absorbed in the small intestine. Therefore, a chelated Calcium Carbonate can be used as an acid buffering agent, to lower the acidity levels of the stomach.
