In experience, expecting to win every time is not critical when playing sports.

Staying positive, being a team player, and following the rules are more likely to make you expect to win every time, but in reality, even the best teams lose. It's quite rare to win every single time, and if so, you probably have the dream team or your opponent sucks. You should not think that you are going to win every time. A lose is bound to come no matter what. Cannot win every time, so don't think that way. Most people who are stuck-up and brag that they are going to win every game, tend to lose every game. The other options are enough to get you to win a few.
