There are many contributory factors involved in most road accidents in the world. But here I discuss only five.

Drinking alcohol while driving, as it is prohibited to drink alcohol during driving but instead of this many people drive when drinking.

Sudden break can also cause accidents.

Unskilled persons driving can be the reason of accidents, mostly underage persons.

Use of mobile phone during driving is also a factor involved in accidents. Because while using mobile phone, you cannot keep attention to road.

Exceeding the speed limit, especially teenagers drive very fast. It is also one of the factor involved in accidents.

Answer:

 1. Distracting driving
 2. Unskilled driver
 3. Reckless driving
 4. Driving under the influence of drug or alcohol
 5. Road condition and weather

Further Explanation

Distracting driving is the major cause of road accidents. A distracted driver is a person that diverts their attention from the road, usually to talk on the phone, send a text message or put on makeup or eat food.

An unskilled driver is a person that incompetent of driving, he is obviously not going to be able to be safe on the road. He can cause accidents by not correctly reading a sign, improper turns, nervous and etc.

A reckless driver is someone who impatient or we can call it an aggressive driver. They often speeding, change lane quickly which may cause an accident.

Driving under the influence of drug or alcohol is not only dangerous for the driver itself but also others on the road. Always make sure that your mind clear and you have complete control over your body. It is also illegal to drive under the influence of drug or alcohol if you do this you will pay some penalties.

Road condition and weather also can cause accidents. During rain or snow the road creates slick and dangerous surfaces for cars, trucks, and motorcycle so drive extra carefully during this time.

Which sentence contains an intensive pronoun? A) Tanya always talks to herself. B) If you cannot help, I will do it myself. C) T
dezoksy [38]
To best answer this question, we must first clarify what an intensive pronoun is.

Intensive pronouns are reflexive pronoun used to add emphasis to a sentence. As a result, an intensive pronoun is not necessary to the meaning of the sentence. Intensive pronouns are the same as reflexive pronouns: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves.

Every sentence given above contains reflexive pronouns, but not all of them are intensive pronouns.

In the first sentence, "herself" is a reflexive pronoun. However, it IS essential to the meaning of the sentence. Talking to herself is different than talking to others. Therefore, sentence A. does NOT contain an intensive pronoun.

In the second sentence, "myself" is NOT essential to the meaning of the sentence. If the word "myself' were eliminated from the sentence, the meaning of the sentence would remain the same. There, sentence B. does contain an intensive pronoun.

In the third sentence, the word "themselves" is essential to the meaning of the sentence. If the word "themselves" were eliminated, the meaning of the sentence would not remain the same, because we need to know they went alone (as opposed to going with their parents). As a result, sentence C. does NOT contain an intensive pronoun.

Finally, in the fourth sentence, the word "himself" is necessary to the sentence so that the reader knows just WHO Andy is looking at in the mirror. If this pronoun were removed, the meaning of the sentence would change. As a result, sentence D. does NOT contain an intensive pronoun.

Therefore, the sentence that contains an intensive pronoun is B.

Why did Aristotle believe language should be plain, natural, and clear in persuasive speeches?
Minchanka [31]
The language must be appropriate to the audience and should use the terms that are most current and ordinary. Using fancy language is not ordinary, and any kind of unfamiliarity can be seen as suspicious.
