The correct answer is loyalty to his king.

As you can see in the excerpt, Sir Gawain is having a conversation with his king about having a fight with the Green Knight in order to defend his honor. He never doubts his allegiance to the king - quite the contrary, he immediately offers his services as a way to prove how loyal he is to his lord.

Unfortunately, Sir Gawain somewhat failed in his quest, having been seduced by the Green Knight's wife. Luckily for him, he makes his amends and the King forgives him.

For many generations, the following genotypic frequencies were observed in a large population of dinosaurs: 4 percent AA, 32 per
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

C) 19.7%

Explanation:

The new population distribution after climate change wiped out homozygous recessive dinosaurs is:

AA = \frac{4}{4+32}=\frac{1}{9}

Aa = \frac{32}{4+32}=\frac{8}{9}

The percentage of offspring of this new population that are homozygous recessive is given by:

P(Aa\ x\ Aa) = \frac{8}{9} *\frac{8}{9} =\frac{64}{81} \\P(aa) = \frac{1}{4}\\P(Aa\ x\ Aa) \cap P(aa) = \frac{64}{81}*\frac{1}{4} =0.197=19.7\%\\

19.7% of these newborn dinosaurs died

bogdanovich [222]
<span>A longleaf pine tree is capable of retaining more water than the other types of trees. As such, it would take a larger scale fire to destroy the tree. Depending on the quality of the wildfire, and the burn rate, it has a slightly better chance of surviving than the others.</span>

Korolek [52]

Hello!! Since there is no mention of weight in the question, I would assume that she is pregnant. Whenever someone's blood pressure is low, it is referred to hypotension. Whenever someone's blood pressure is high, it is referred to hypertension. I would say your best answer is A - She has hypotension because she is pregnant. I hope that is the right answer you are looking for. Have a great day!! :)

Which factors affect the rate of deposition? Check all that apply. color of the sediment density of the sediment size of the sed
MakcuM [25]

Answer:

density of the sediment

size of the sediment

velocity of the agent of erosion

Explanation:

Deposition can be defined as the process of building up of sediment from chemical processes because the forces which are responsible for transporting Sediment are no longer sufficient enough to overcome the forces of gravity which is why density of the sediment, size of the sediment as well as velocity of the agent of erosion tend to affect

The rate of deposition due to the fact that

Larger and denser particles are heavier and land first before, less dense particles which cause round pieces of sediment settle more quickly than flat pieces .

Hence,density of the sediment,size of the sediment as well as velocity of the agent of erosion will often affect the rate deposition.
