Read the excerpt from "Save the Coral Reefs.” Nowadays, the widespread bleaching caused by global warming and pollution occurs i

n more areas than ever before and irreparably damages the coral. Coral receives most of its oxygen and food from the algae that live in and on the reefs. When the coral becomes stressed by the overheating of the ocean caused by global warming, the algae detach from the reefs, and the reefs lose their main source of sustenance. Using context clues as a guide, what is the meaning of "irreparably”?

Irreparably means that it has been damaged and that it is beyond repair. That there is no way to fix it back to the way it was.

Answer:

Based solely on this sentence? Best definition if we're only using this is...

A person who is authoritarian ('he alone'), blunt ('uses the literal meanings of words') and forcibly supresses others ('will not listen to others', 'makes decisions on behalf of others').

Not too far off the mark, but there's a lot more to fascism than is shown here.
