Answer: The compementary strand is TAGCCG.

DNA ( deoxyribonucleic acid) is composed of two complementary strands which give it a double helical structure. Both strands are antiparallel meaning that if one strand reads in 5' to 3' direction, its complementary will be in 3' to 5' direction.

The monomer of DNA is dNTP ( deoxyribonucleoside triphosphate) which consists of the phosphate, deoxyribose sugar and nitogenous base. There are four nitrogenous bases in the DNA - Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine, and Thymine. In the complementary strands, one nitrogenous base pairs with another nitogenous base placed at the corresponding position through hydrogen bonding.

 • Adenine pairs with Thymine through two hydrogen bonds (A=T)
 • Guanine pairs with Cytosine through three hydrogen bonds (G≡C)

Thus complementary strand of given DNA sequence ATCGGC is TAGCCG.

The difference between the images in the two eyes, or the ______, is the binocular cue the brain uses to see in three dimensions
Monica [59]

Answer:

Disparity

Explanation:

The disparity in vision refers to the imperfect match between the two eyes caused by the different views perceived at a slightly different angle by two eyes.

This difference between the image formed at the retina at a different angle gets fused and the brain perceives the fused image as a single perception by the eyes. This disparity thus allows the brain to analyse the 3D view of the sample and the binocular disparity between image helps determine the depth of the image.

Thus, Disparity is the correct answer.

Long And Short-Day Plants

Explanation:

Long-day Plants-

 • A plant that flowers simply subsequent to being presented to light periods longer than a specific basic length, as in summer.
 • Spinach, lettuce, and a few assortments of wheat are difficult day plants. Look at day-unbiased plant short-day plant at phototropism.
 • Long plants include such as aster, cone flower, radish ,potato, hibiscus, cone flower, lettuce, spinach and sugar beet.

Short-day plants-

 • A plant that requires a significant stretch of obscurity, is named a "brief day" (difficult night) plant..
 • Short-day plants structure blossoms just when day length is not exactly around 12 hours.
 • The fall flowering plants and many spring are whole day plants, such as poinsettias and Christmas Christmas cactus and chrysanthemums.

Which statement correctly describes metabolic reactions? Intermediary metabolism breaks down material and transforms fuels into
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

Catabolic processes break down material and transforms fuels into cellular energy, whereas anabolic processes require energy for biosynthesis.

Explanation:

Metabolism is a constructive and destructive process which occurs in the body of living organisms. There are two types of metabolism i. e. catabolism and anabolism. Catabolism is a destructive process in which food molecules are broken down into simpler substances for the production of energy while anabolism used this energy for the formation of new cells and muscles etc.
