10% of the energy goes to the deer

Answer:

10% of total energy available in grass.

Explanation:

The energy transfer in an ecosystem occurs through the food chain and follows the 10% law and the second law of thermodynamics. Accordingly, during the transfer of energy from one trophic level to other, only 10% of energy is transferred and the rest 90% is lost as metabolic heat.

Hence, the grass will use 90% of its total energy content in respiration and this energy will be lost as heat to the surroundings. Only 10% of the energy of grass will be available for deer.

A strand of DNA contains the bases adenine, cytosine, cytosine, and guanine, in that order. Which would be the order
Gekata [30.6K]

Answer:

If a strand of DNA contains the bases adenine, cytosine, cytosine and guanine the order of the bases on the opposite strand is thymine, guanine, guanine and cytosine.

Explanation:

DNA contains a double strand, each of which contains a specific sequence of bases —adenine, thymine, cytosine and guanine— whose order determines the genetic information stored in this nucleic acid.

The sequence of bases on one DNA strand is complementary on the other strand, taking into account the complementarity of bases, i.e. the purines adenine and guanine are complemented by the pyrimidines thymine and cytosine, respectively:

A = T

G ≡ C

So that the sequence A - C - C - G of one chain is complemented by the sequence T - G - G - C of the other.

     Taking into account the above information, the other options can be discarded, as they do not comply with the complementarity of bases in the DNA.

2.Rotational motion caused the nebula to flatten out in its disk-like shape. The nebula spined counterclockwise to conserve the angular momentum of the material of the material that were going to the center. This rotation, made the materials that were not in the center flatten out, that's why it looks like a disk.
