Alecsey [184]
To describe the characteristics of currency with the statements provided, the answers are...

- Currencies can vary from nation to nation.
Think of the style of currency within the United States, we have dollar bills, quarters, nickels, dimes, pennies, etc. In other countries such as Germany for example, they use a type of currency known as "Euros".

- Currencies are divisible and have denominations.
These denominations within the United States include: Pennies (1 cent), Nickels (5 cents), Dimes (10 cents), Quarters (25 cents), and the Native American Dollar Coin (1 dollar).

- The value of a nation’s currency can change, and this value is based on many factors.
In 1690, America used a paper currency system (These were called "paper notes") to fund "Military Expeditions" and later other colonies began to take up this system as well. Later in 1861 during the Civil War, the U.S began to issue non-interest-bearing Demand notes (Later earning the nickname "Greenbacks"). Throughout the years, these "Notes" went through many re-designs and eventually became the dollar we see today.

docker41 [41]

B. European actions in both locations resulted in the destruction of entire societies.

Explanation:

The Age of Exploration was the time when many Europeans went out and explored the world. They did this for numerous reasons, many wanted wealth and even the thrill of discovering new places made people want to explore.

Many new items were being discovered during this time. New fruits, animals, ores, and other things were being discovered and being brought back to Europe. This brought fortune to many people and spread new culture throughout many regions.

A lot of bad things came with the Age of Exploration as well, such as slavery and disease. The European explorers such as Christopher Columbus would find places such as the Americas and bring diseases to the people there, who had no immunity to them whatsoever, so it ended up killing a lot of people. A lot of European explorers also sold a lot of people into slavery in the Americas and Africa.

Between disease, slavery, murder, and other factors that the European explorers brought to the Americas and Africa, these ended up destroying and wiping out entire villages and societies.

In both of these ancient empires/dynasties the rulers were not elected, but instead they had the throne as a given because they were born in the family that ruled the empire/dynasty. They had the absolute power over everything in their respective empires/dynasties, but it's interesting that they were also considered as divine creatures, like Gods even.
