Answer: B). direct evidence

A coroner is a forensic medicine professional in US who is called upon in suspicious death cases to determine the cause of death, manner of death and time since death on the spot by examining the body externally and if possible conducting the autopsy. The body of crime is the direct evidence and the testimony prepared by the coroner can be presented in the court. Direct evidences are the first hand observatory evidences such as eyewitness testimony, experts testimony, confession, and video surveillance and these are admissible in the court to prove a crime has taken place.
