No, I believe they have no right to invade someone's privacy in order to call their phone number just so they can make a buck or two and advertise their sell. There are my other creative ways to advertise that does not involve calling a stranger to buy a product; people can watch it on tv, listen to the radio etc. Individual need to understand that a stranger calling is a spam regardless if he is a sales business man as long as he is not on the contacts he is a spammer; phish of individuals personal en information and selling coupons from a abundant company domain that has been used so many times for spammers and even hackers. Therefore, an individual should always block outsider contact numbers that are doubtful. If an individual would like to receive phone numbers from business men than they can check websites of companies that safely and spam free for their customers in call line. Otherwise an advertising call is a no no toward all the factors that I have mentioned. Therefore, advertising call are unknown to individuals as they are not trustworthy and that an individual should block outsider advertising calls; out of sight out of mind hope this helps :)

"BRIGHT CITY LIGHTS ARE KEEPING OCEAN PREDATORS AWAKE AND HUNGRY" by Damon Bolton Which statement best describes the central ide
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

D.

Explanation:

'Bright City Lights Are Keeping Ocean Predators Awake and Hungry' is an article written by Damon Bolton. The article talks about the affects of street-lights offshore on sea life.

In his article, Bolton asserts that light pollution has affected the predatory cycle of marine ecosystem. He reported that lights in oceans make prey of seafloor communities more visible to predators such as yellowfin bream and leatherjackets. The artificial lights make sessile invertebrate prey communities more exposed to fish predators during night than day-light, which hampers the marine ecosystem. Thus option D is correct.

Tumo worked full-time at a manufacturing plant for the last ten years, but recently, a number of his co-workers were laid off an
oee [108]

Question 1: The answer is A.

Tumo was extrinsically motivated to go back to college part-time because he knew there was a real chance that the plant where he worked would shut down and move its operations out-of-state. But at the same time, he was also intrinsically motivated because he saw this as an oportunity to fulfill his dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Question 2: The answer is A.

Tumo exhibits a Growth mindset. Rather than believing his qualities are set and looking for a job in a similar plant, he is certain that his intelligence can grow. Because of this, he strives to improve himself.

Question 3: The answer is C.

By isolating himself, Tumo would not be building resilience, on the contrary, he would be allowing the situation to get the best of him. On the other hand, if he were to maintain a positive stance, take actions before getting fired or see this as an opportunity, Tumo would be developing resilience and getting himself ready for the future that awaits him.
