If this is the picture of the bird with the columns on the sides of the picture, then this is the answer. This piece is an example of silver point. The values in a silver point work are created by using a thin wire that is held by a cylinder-shaped holder. The artist must slowly build up scratches overtime, in order to created darker values. The greater the etching or scratching, the darker the value. This medium is challenging because it cannot be erased and it takes a long time

ser-zykov [4K]
What is unusual about this cathedral is that A. it had no doors to open and close, it was open day and night.
This open space made people feel more welcome because they are not completely closed in one room. The room is quite airy and makes you feel free, and the fact that you can visit it day or night gives off a positive impression too.

Examine the piece above. What is the subject matter in this piece? What is the content?
Drupady [299]

Answer:

Please see Explanation.

Explanation:

The subject matter is a view at the edge of a forest, into a clearing, at dusk or dawn, though the mood is of sunset. The clearing opens into a dirt path or road that is more than a game trail, leading down past the lake or pond, up to a manor or walled castle keep. The pond is reflecting the light from the sunset, bringing about the notion that darkness will be upon the view in a short time. The cirrus clouds, wispy with a bit of wind, indicate the weather may be cold or becoming colder, perhaps in the season of Fall.

The content includes several types of trees including what appear to be a few evergreens and several deciduous trees. In the near distance, there are some shorter trees that may be shrubs. Sprigs of grass and other small plants are shown at the base of the trees. The dirt road brings about the notion that this is a scene from the past, such that the walled castle keep is in current use. The content includes clouds that appear to be showing the oncoming cold. There are rocky appearing mountains in the distance. The observer is at the edge of forrest, overlooking the road, curving around to the castle keep.
