Taxation. Shay's Rebellion happened because banks were foreclosing on farmers' homes. The farmers revolted because they couldn't make their payments and the high interest rates which was somehow caused by large post (Revolutionary) war debts. The federal government struggled to pay its debts because the Articles of Confederation didn't allow the federal gov't to forcestates to pay taxes.

marusya05 [52]
The supporters you're referring to were called patrons. Patrons were usually wealthy merchants or people who have made their fortune in other ways and wanted to either have a picture of themselves and their family, or generally had a desire to support painting, some even decided to order paintings for the church in order to get in good standing with the church officials.

posledela
Amid the 1850s, there was a sectional emergency. The sectional emergency was a period in American history where each "area" of the United States went about as its own particular element without respect to the prosperity of whatever remains of the country.

Fundamentally, every one of these occasions finished and started off the Civil War. It was the ideal tempest. The majority of the years preceding the sectional emergency, subjugation had been disregarded by Congress and no choices were made certifying or denouncing it.
