The SQ4Q method has the following 6 steps:

1. Survey (S)

2. Question (Q)

3. Read (R#1)

4. Respond (R#2)

5. Record (R#3)

6. Review (R#4)

During the second step questions are asked based on the Survey (S), at this part you have not read the material yet, you are just in the previewof it.
