That it should how foolish people were back in the older days and believed anything due to their faith. Their religious faith was so strong they were willing to convict friends and families for something that couldn’t be proven all in the fear of rotting of hell. While the politicians and officials supported the cases of witchcraft with they knew were not real in order to achieve wealth and political climb, it shows just how corrupt the government has been and how people will do anything to achieve power even murder.

Read the first stanza of "Some Keep the Sabbath Going to Church". Some keep the Sabbath going to Church –. I keep it, staying at
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

The right answer is letter C - that the speaker is able to see and feel her faith in eveything that surrounds her.

In this poem the poet explains why she stays at home during sabbath instead of going to church. She describes how the choir is replaced by a bobolink and a sexton, and that she doesn't need to go anywhere in particular as the "orchard" outside can be likened to church "dome". Emily feels her faith is not bound to any place but rather it can be found in everything around her.

Which of the following settings best create fear or anxiety? Falling snow Sunrise Open fields Decaying trees
Lerok [7]
A sunrise most definitely cannot be associated with either of those things, the sun is most often symbolic of something good or happy. Falling snow also does not create a sense of fear or anxiety, when thinking of snow I think of peace and quiet, serenity. Some might even feel happy or joywhen thinking about snow because it is most often associated with Christmas. I also think that an open field does not stir feelings of fear, that is unless you give details or descriptions to make it scary. I would say a setting with decaying trees best creates fear and anxiety. The word decay literally means " the state or process of rotting or decomposition". It is associated with death, and death is most often viewed as frightening and mysterious. Hope this helps .
