In these speeches, consider that King says “1963 is not an end, but a beginning,” while Malcolm X states in his 1964 speech that
makkiz [27]

sample answer from palto

King’s speech is from the point of view of a fellow African American who seeks civil rights and will not rest until the African American community achieves equal rights in the United States, but only through nonviolent methods. He states that African Americans will keep striving for freedom, but at the same time, he encourages the African American community to not indulge in any wrong or violent deeds. Malcolm X also attempts to encourage the African American community to revolt against destructive inequality, but he advocates using force and violence when necessary. His words “the ballot or the bullet” are meant to serve as an ultimatum to the government. If African Americans are not allowed to vote, then they may turn to violence to achieve their goals.

How are the Greek values of family and perseverance shown through Odysseus’s return home?
Nadya [2.5K]
Although we see these values, we must also recognize the tremendous double standard between genders at play here. That Homer never reproaches Odysseus for his extracurricular romances but condemns the unfaithful women in the poem recalls Calypso’s angry statement about the double standard for immortals: male gods are allowed to take mortal lovers, while female goddesses are not. Likewise, men such as Odysseus have some freedom to "wander" sexually during their geographical wanderings -- so long as they are ultimately faithful to their home -- while Penelope and the other women in The Odyssey are chastised for their lack of chastity. Indeed, Odysseus does remain true to Penelope in his heart, and his desire to reunite with her drives his faithful journey. Fidelity is also central at the end of the poem, when Odysseus tests the loyalties of his servants and punishes those who have betrayed him.

Which possible outcome is most clearly determined by the story's setting
marin [14]

Well from the first sentence it says, "a princess awakens to find that her magic necklace has been stolen by an evil sorcerer." That first sentence right there already tells that the "magic necklace" of hers is pretty valuable. Then the second sentence says, "The princess must find a way to retrieve her necklace before its magic is used to destroy the kingdom." Obviously the sorcerer wont make it easy for her to retrieve the necklace so there must be an upcoming fight. This sentence also shows she's pretty determined to find away to get her necklace back to save the kingdom.
