I would say the correct answer is D. fruits and vegetables that do not spoil easily.
To me, this seems like the only advantage to genetic engineering among these examples. A is incorrect because you would want your crops to grow faster, not more slowly; B is incorrect because pathogens are bad and you don't want them; C is incorrect because diversity is important. Thus, D is the only correct answer here.

Cells are categorized as either prokaryotic or eukaryotic. classify the characteristics below as being unique to prokaryotic cel
dezoksy [38]
Prokaryotic cells: lack membrane-bound organelles, relatively small - typically less than 10 μm in size.

Both cell types: use ribosomes to synthesize proteins, contain DNA.

Eukaryotic cells: complete copy of DNA stored in multiple chromosomes.

In particular, prokaryotic cells have no nucleus and no membrane-bound organelles, therefore their ribosomes float freely intracellularly. On the other hand, eukaryotic cells have nucleus and membrane-bound organelles. Also, their DNA is bound to proteins and stored in the form of chromosomes in the nucleus.

Let’s suppose a sheep that provided the oocyte for reproductive cloning was homozygous for a gene that causes a small head. This
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

Small head

Explanation:

Since the genes are located in the nucleus of a cell which has being removed (but some genes are still located in the mitochondria of the ocyte) from its ocyte to fuse it with with another nucleus. Since the cell follows a maternal inheritance of gene, it would have a small head because of the presence genes in the mitochondria.

In direct calorimetry, a person is placed in a large, water-insulated chamber. The chamber is kept at a constant temperature. Wh
Anastaziya [24]

Answer:

Although direct calorimetry is considered to be the most precise technique for the measurement of metabolic rate, construction of such a chamber that is large enough for doing exercise physiology research (or any research for that matter) is extremely expensive and not at all mobile.

Explanation:

Direct calorimetry measures the heat production of an individual, in calories, when placed in an insulated chamber where the heat is transferred to surrounding water. This is a very accurate method of measuring energy expenditure.
