In this paragraph the police officer not only gets into the bakery, he “storms” this means an abrupt movement, it sudden and unexpected the baker was astounded, and their movement was brusque, for this reason the best word to replace “took” would be “dragged”, this will become the scene and actions stronger. The answer is A.
