Percent error is a statistical tool used for evaluating precision. It is expressed as:

Percent error = | (experimental value - theoretical value) / theoretical value | x 100%

Experimental value represents the calculated value while the theoretical value represents the known value. A percent error value which is approaching zero means that your experimental value is close to the known value. Which can possibly mean that you have precise measurements. Calculations are as follows:

Percent Error = | (2.54 - 2.70) / 2.70 | x 100 =5.93%

Thus, the answer is b. 5.93%.

If i wanted to look at a onion cell what type of microscope would be best to use
poizon [28]
It is best to use regular light microscopes to observe that.

For simple structures, onion cells doesn't require a very large magnification. Magnifications for such as 100X or 150X is already enough to determine the different structures of onion cells such as cell walls or cytoplasm.

It is not very suitable to use a electron microscope especially as high school or college students, as electronic microscopes can be really expensive, usually only top universities have them. Also, it is quite complicated to control the microscope comparing to the common light microscope that we can easily find in many school laboratories. They're easy to function and they're a lot cheaper.

So, it's best advised to use a light microscope, unless if you're really into studying very detailed structures and you're experienced in doing these sorts of things, then you should use a electron microscope.

Compare a bacterial cell and a human body cell. Include in your response
shepuryov [24]

Answer:

Differences: Size

Similarities:  Organelles

Explanation:

The most important difference is size. The volume of a typical human cell is 4,000 times more than the volume of a typical bacterial cell. Today's bacterial cells are direct descendants of the prokaryotic cells found in rocks that were formed one billion years after Earth.

Organelles are the biggest difference between bacteria and cells that make up the human body. An organelle is a tiny cellular structure that performs specific functions within a cell. Organelles are embedded within the cytoplasm of eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells. In the more complex eukaryotic cells, organelles are often enclosed by their own membrane

To test the effectiveness of a new nutrient supplement, one group of identical mice is given the supplement, and the other group
Delvig [45]

Answer:

The options are

A.independent variable, dependent variable

B.control group, experimental group, dependent variable

C.independent variable, control group, experimental group

D.control group, experimental group

The answer is C.independent variable, control group, experimental group.

The most complete list of the parts of an experiment presented in this scenario would surely be the independent variable, the control and experimental group inclusive.
