After rereading the fragment with the comma splice, review the choices on the right and check the three correct ways to fix the

comma splice. We look at political documents, records, and historical agreements; they offer hints about life in the past. We look at political documents, they offer hints about life in the past, records, and historical agreements do too. We look at political documents, records, and historical agreements because they offer hints about life in the past. We look at political documents, records, and historical agreements. Even though you didn't give us the fragment with the comma slice, it isn't really necessary here as we can answer just based on these 4 options here. All options apart from the second one are correct - only the second option doesn't fix the mistake of the comma splice, whereas the other options do but connecting the sentences properly.

1.While some parents are more interested in their own social relationships than in their children, other parents spend their eve
Julli [10]
1) I think that there is a sentence which embrasses all the needed points which should be listed : The lack of parental discipline and concern frequently results in severe problems for both the child and the parent. It is sort of conclusion of such points : the lack of discipline, the lack of respinsibility, example of people who are still not ready for having children, neglecting own duty, late awareness.

2)The <span>pattern of development which would best fit the topic ''The Freshwater and Saltwater Flounder" is definitely </span>comparison/contrast due to <span>conjunction and, of course due to the fact that there is two type of fishes that live and develop in completely different conditions which means there ae many aspects of contrast.
</span>
3) I am pretty sure that t<span>he pattern of development which would best fit the topic ''</span>An Hour in the Dentist's Office" is spatial order. I think that we should depend on the fact that there is a location in the name of topic, so we can predict that there can be a description of objects and other things <span> to their physical position.

4) It seems to me that the</span><span> pattern of development would best fit the topic
</span>"Boggstown--How It Used to Look" - is particular to general. I consider this way of developing as there is a central object on which the tone of the story will be focused - that is usual for ''<span>particular to general'' texts.</span>
